This lesson plan introduces students to a bridge replacement and stream widening project in Ilion, New York (Region 2) that was constructed in 2022.

This lesson provides:

• Background on the project;
• A 360-degree video “VR” Tour of the site, ideally viewed using an Expertise VR headset (or via the webpage below);
• An introduction to the site and documents used in the construction of the project, and; 
• A series of print reading and basic math skills questions often used in construction and construction inspection.
